station-pseudobridge-clone bug

Can confirm as per the post in viewtopic.php?t=127485#p627538 that even on V6.47.4 that this bug still exists.

However setting "Station Bridge Clone MAC" manually instead of hoping it will auto learn works as a workaround.

Is this the best place to report bugs?

Re: SwOS version 2.10 released!

Very good observation! I had RSTP off in all ports. By turning RSTP back on all ports upgrade worked! You're welcome. Thanks for your reply, I just turned RSTP on all ports back on and the upgrade succeeded. Looks like it's not just the port you're doing the upgrade on this time but needs to be on ...

Re: SwOS version 2.10 released!

@LeftyTs - what exactly happens when you try to install the new version (e.g. boots with old version, boots with backup version, does not boot at all)? Please try loading the backup firmware by pressing the reset button for a few seconds and then perform the manually upgrade. I have tried to upgrad...

Re: station-pseudobridge L3 bridge to non MikroTik?

This indicates station-pseudobridge is for a single client. A bridge is not a routed network. "This mode is limited to complete L2 bridging of data to single device connected to station and some support for IPv4 frame bridging " That's fine as I am not worried about L2 bridging I just wan...

Re: Suricata IDS/IPS integration with Mikrotik (now with OSSEC)

Do I have to run suricata through trafr? Nope. Haven't heard of trafr until your message. Can't find trafr officially listed on the MikroTik downloads page either. It's referenced on the Wiki but looks pulled? Presumably "tzsp2pcap" is the drop in replacement and MikroTik moved to the TZS...

Re: Mikrotik "Internet detect" problem

More details seem to be listed here :)? https://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/Manual:Detect_internet

Reads like you need to pass WAN criteria to then ALSO evaluate for Internet criteria.

Re: station-pseudobridge L3 bridge to non MikroTik?

This works if the PC has a static IP.. for some reason when it gets the address via DHCP it still won't have Internet access. I'm starting to suspect the non-MK router (Ubiqiuiti EdgeRouter running ISC DHCPd) might not allow duplicate MACs for different IPs. # feb/20/2019 22:55:29 by RouterOS 6.43.1...

Re: station-pseudobridge L3 bridge to non MikroTik?

I would use Ap wisp mode. All you need to do is configure the interfaces and the bridge and put all your hapac2 ports as part of the bridge. If there are vlans coming in they have to be created on the hap and added to the bridge. Create any wifi networks required. Thats about it.... post your hapac...

station-pseudobridge L3 bridge to non MikroTik?

Hi, I have a relatively simple setup and after Googling found a lot of more complicated enviroments that I tried to transplant their settings after using quickset and didn't get it to work (eth5 kept getting DHCP address but couldn't connect to anything). Non-MK Router -> Unifi AP .....................
