Re: QoS Hardware Offloading (QoS-HW)

Hello, this is interesting news. Are there plans to use the new feature for dynamic queues, e.g. with a PPPoE server on a CCR2216?

Thanks
Hello,

I'm also curious about the answer to this question.

What are your plans in this regard? This is very important.

Re: v7 and BFD, any ETA?

classic MikroTik
work

It does not explain a roadmap on the subject.

BFD does not say it will come or it will never come.

It plunges the user into darkness.

Re: 100 G Network Cards // Driver

hello anton,

The problem with the header is the need for 100G NIC.

Is there a product that supports this issue, or is it in your plans?

FastPath & Fasttrack

Fasttrack works very well in basic scenarios. but it falls short for me in some scenarios. Does MikroTİk think of an improvement in these issues or can it show us a solution? 1- When vlan is defined on the bonding interface, not all packages are fasttracked. 2- When vlan is defined on the VRRP inter...

Re: v7.1beta5 [development] is released!

VLAN opened on the bonding interface, including 6.47.9, 6.48.1 and 6.49beta27, switch to runing = false every time the bonding hash policy is changed. Runnig = true does not work unless you manually turn the interface off and on or change the hash policy again. When I tested it with RouterOS 7.1beta...

Re: v7.1beta5 [development] is released!

95% of the existing wireless equipment, which is 2.4GHz, will not receive WiFiWave2 support. This means that we cannot currently use the 2.4GHz wireless card of any of them, except for almost 2.3 MikroTik using WiFiWave2. In the future, MikroTik may consider running a 5GHz driver bundle for 2.4GHz f...

linux kernel As of version 5.11, they introduced Wi-Fi 6E support to their kernel codes. There will probably be kernel level support like wireguard.lecek.

Re: MİkroTik Wireless Gig+ Test

The reported result are bogus.............. 1753/3 = 583Mpbs is what is more likely with direct LOS and no interfering obstacles. At 1300/3 = 433Mbps speed can be expected. Rough rule of thumb (take advertised two way speed, divide by two for one way and then subtract losses). 1/3 rule is a good st...

audionce will easily reach 1Gbps traffic in almost any scenario.

I don't think there is a problem with the CPU. Test conducted using Traffic Generator. The CPU generating to ip package bit high as they produce 4011.

Hi,

*) arm - improved system stability;"

Can you explain this a little bit? Does it include an improvement regarding watchdog for arm ethernet routers? Arm routers (1100xr) frequently switch off and on under high load due to the watchdog.
