Re: v7.7rc is released!

Any news on fixing SFP DDM / SFP details on "hEX S" RB760iGS?
It worked in V6 but stopped working in V7 with many reports.
Can someone at Mikrotik acknowledge or confirm the issue?

Since most GPS modules are actually GNSS modules, maybe it makes sense to rename the package and commands to GNSS.

Best to make this change at a major version change since folks will already be validating their scripts against the new version.

I almost accidentally upgraded to MacOS Catalina, which would have hosed my Wineskin'd Winbox. Now that there's an iOS app it seems that a native MacOS app shouldn't be far behind. Still looking for a complete all in one tower router.

RB850Gx2 seems like a good platform to build on. It just needs an SFP port and PoE out on at least 4 ports.

Then just add a 24V UPS and we're off to the races.

Since it's random it seems like it would make more sense to use a ping watchdog to reboot the device only when it loses it's connection. It also means the client doesn't need to wait until the scheduled reset if the modem goes down much before 0:00.
