URGENT- How to remove sim from LHG LTE18

Mon Oct 09, 2023 4:19 pm

I have my sim stuck inside an LHG LTE18, does anybody kwon hot to remove it?

Is the slot a push-push version or what?

Do I need a flat screwdriver?

Any help is appreciated before I'll damage the unit using strange tools.

Thanks

This is what I am using to remove the SIM from some Mikrotik 4G models.
Very crappy design

That is a problem indeed.
I recall you can take the top side off to reach the motherboard, thus the SIM.
Not 100% sure. I never did it.

These MT SIM slots are bad, I spent a half of hour to remove SIM with tweezers from Chateau LTE12 because it was gone to deep and adapter plastic from nano to micro sim was damaged after removal, fortunately SIM survived.

If it's in the slot, a toothpick will also work.

I'm not sure it can get under the SIM on LHG, but if it did...you may need putty knife and/or screwdriver to open it. On a LHG, I'm not sure exactly however.

And, yes, all the SIM slots are little janky.
