So i have connection from ISP modem -> Mikrotik. ISP modem is establishing ppoe connection and it has also configured DHCP server. Address 192.168.1.2 is for Mikrotik.

Currently on Mikrotik I have DHCP client set and the current configuration is working. Why do I need to have the DHCP client set on mikrotik if all the clients that are connecting to my network are connecting to mikrotik and are using local lan 10.0.0.0? Ether12 is the wan port and is not included in bridge. Masquerade is also done on this port.

I have tried removing the DHCP client from mikrotik but then internet fails. Why is that?
