Re: RB5009 and 2Gb/s internet speed

Help me out here ... 1 ISP port of 2Gb/s and a requirement for 5 internal ports also able to use 2Gb/s ? That makes 2Gb/s on one end yet (theoretically) 10Gb/s on the other end ? Re: Which frequency to use?

Depends on a couple of factors: - what can your client devices use ? Some might not be able to use the higher frequencies (>5754 or even >5600). SO you may already be limited to using frequencies below 5600 (as most of your environment seems to be doing). - what channel width do you want to use For ...

Re: Why does PCC break "google.com/maps" - or does it for you? [SOLVED]

Currently you have this
per-connection-classifier=both-addresses-and-ports
Best to use
per-connection-classifier=both-addresses
Otherwise every new port (source or destination), might result in new channel.

And if that doesn't work, it might indeed be needed to go for source address only.

Logical.

On controller those interfaces are not real radios, so you only see there the interface names and indication they are wifi interfaces (even though they are really not there, only virtually).
On the cap, you do have real radio and there you see it's being controlled by capsman.

Yes.
Since that device is acting as capsman manager AND it's controlling it's own wifi interfaces, it all falls under the same ROS instance (the one from the controller).
So everything related to fast roaming etc., will simply work (for radios within the same SSIDs).

Read the specs. Both devices use different POE schemes.

CRS106 PoE In = passive POE 11-30V
CRS310: PoE in = 802.3 af/at 18-57 V

What works for one, may not work for the other depending on the power source you give them.
E.g. typically 802.3 POE is 48V or about. CRS106 does not accept that voltage.

you did not provide the correct location for your containers nor the correct location for the config files.
Some (or all ?) of it came together in one big place.

It's not rocket science. If you go the manual road, it MIGHT be possible you need to handle this in 2 steps. But you will only know once you see it failing. If you go the normal road as foreseen in Winbox/CLI, it SHOULD be a one-step thing. Also there, log file after reboot will tell you were you ar...

Best option for your requirements:
capsman and vlan.
You don't need a separate controller, one of the caps can do it easily.
Any other option will require you to make workaround after workaround on 3 different devices and maybe still have some loopholes in it.

No need to sugarcoat it any further.
