I had similar experience with AX2, I had AX3 as POE to AX2 whre AX2 detected anly 100Mbit. After a while it fixed itself, but this is probably bug and I hope it is only SW bug.

I think it is a good idea but from AX3 you will probably not get full 1GB. If you do not need USB you can even buy AX2. I have approx 700Mbps on AX2 and Im only few meters from the router..no walls etc.AC2 should be able to route 1 GB but it depends on firewall rulls, QOS etc.

old cube CubeG-5ac60ad has only 12° angle antenna and it is not meant to be AP.

Definitely use CubeG-5ac60ay-SA as AP and 2 cube as clinets. But be carefull at them moment is CubeG-5ac60ay-SA buggy. MT hoppefuly should fix it soon.

Im on 60Ghz on 7.4.1 after that there is no improvement to those devices... I do not want upgrade every month and risk bricking devices which are on the roof.
